Hello! This team is set up by myself and my husband Charles to help raise money in support of Children's Hospital Colorado - specifically the Liver Department.

On May 21, 2015 our daughter, Olivia Levaque, received the amazing gift of a new liver - and a second chance at life. She is still the same happy and fun girl, her smile just shines so much brighter now that she has no more pain. She is an adventurer and so full of energy - its a beautiful thing to witness every day. And we are forever grateful.

We chose to fundraise for Children's Hospital Colorado because this is a community that we are now forever part of and give thanks to. The staff - everyone from her surgeons, the transplant team, her doctors and nurses, the food service and cleaning staff - everyone at that hospital made every one of our visits and stays at the hospital so wonderful. The least we can do is give back. 

Charles and I plan to run races as well as participate in a few bike events to raise money for Children's, in honor of Olivia. Olivia will be cheering us on until she is old enough to join with :)
