Join our team and help us support the Children's Hospital Colorado EB Endowment Fund. EB stands for Epidermolysis Bullosa, which is also called "the worst disease you have never heard of". It is a genetic disease involving the collagen (protein) which connets the layers of skin together. Children with recessive dystrophic EB, the most severe form, lack the collagen and fibrils connecting the dermis and epidermis. Consequently, even slight trauma can cause blisters and sores. These children live with painful wounds, disfigurement, loss of mobility and hand function, and many other complications their entire lives.

I have a special place in my heart for children with EB and want to see their lives improve. The EB Endowment Fund helps families pay for equipment, dressings, and even non-medical costs that insurance and families are unable to cover. It also funds Camp Spirit (a winter adventure camp) for children with recessive dystrophic EB, and research, which is the main hope to improve the lives of our kids. Thank you for considering a donation to the CHC EB Endowment Fund.
