The Vickers Family has made it a point to participate in the Carbon Valley events because of Hunter’s autism diagnosis. The event raises money for autism research through the Children’s Hospital of Colorado.
The Carbon Valley Half Marathon has raised over $100,000 since its inception.
Every year the Vickers family and friends seek out ways to increase donations by doing more than the half marathon.
This year, Hunter will again set the goal of running the whole 13.1 miles, which is a lofty goal! He will have tons of support and encouragement along the way, so please join us in showing your support for his brave goal and donate.
To help him get to the finish line, we are welcoming of your support, whether it be cheering at the event, monetary donations through the website, or a note of encouragement that we can read to him along the way, we appreciate your help.
