Why we ride
This will be Summits for Samantha’s- Team Epsilon’s 9th Courage Classic tour! We ride in memory of our daughter, Samantha and those in our community who suffer from the type of complex genetic disease, Mitochondrial Disease.
It has been amazing the impact seven years ago can make. We started small and humble and raised $3,000. Since that time we have gained the support and financial commitment from my fantastic company Epsilon and their parent company ADS.
We have grown to now 65 members strong and last year a contributor of $109,000 for Mitochondrial research and support. Summits for Samantha is the reason why there is Mitochondrial research in the Rocky Mountain region. Mitochondrial Disease is a difficult disease; it is difficult to diagnose and patients suffer from multiple system issues. We are so very fortunate to have a hospital in our backyard that provides the best holistic, medical care for our children and our families.
We are making a difference! There are few defining moments in life. There are few times we have the ability to turn something tragic into something positive. This is my positive- and I am always in awe and humbled by those who join me.
I am honored to ride for Children's Hospital, the hospital that worked endlessly to make sure our daughter could live the best life possible. And I am honored to ride in me the memory of our daughter Samantha, a sweet little thing who continues to make an impact.
I hope you ride with us.
