Bikes and I have a painful history. Let's just say I learned the hard way that the padding in bike shorts is only useful when you don't put the shorts on backwards.
But good thing this isn't about me!
This is about signing up for opportunity to support positive and healthier futures for kids who have histories far more painful than mine with bikes. Though I'm not happy about the circumstances under which the standard Classic tour has been tweaked, I can't deny that I'm thrilled to have other distance-based, no-padding-required activity options. I'm aiming to clock 80 miles in the month of July on foot (hiking, running, walking) in place of what I would've otherwise been pedalling.
Should you donate any amount, you'll get picture evidence of me committing to complete the following:
$0.01-$50 donation = a 5k
$50.01-$75 donation = Manitou Incline
$75.01-$100 donation = hike of your choice (must be indicated with donation!)
$100.01-$200 donation = 14er
$200+ = mountain bike trial!
