Sheila and I successfully completed the Courage Classic last year for the first time, riding 80+ miles over two days. This year, we will be riding again! Once again, we'll support the (new and improved) Special Forces- the Special Care Clinic team. I'll be riding up mountain passes over 10,000 feet high and hope you can be with me in spirit! I'm asking for your support as we ride with hundreds of other riders to support Children's Hospital Colorado.
I am supporting the Courage Classic for patients like those I care for: Derek, Gigi, Jose and Dante, just to name a few. While many kids are faced with a chronic condition with which they struggle mightily, these kids are challenged with multiple conditions at the same time. They make my ride seem like a piece of cake when I think about what they have to go through daily.
Did you know that Children's Colorado plays a special role in providing care for kids who can't get insurance? Several of my Special Care Clinic kids receive free care that they could get literally NOWHERE else. I am proud of the role we can play in caring for these kids, some of whom are undocumented but are an important part of our family. Please help me to help them by donating to my ride today! I have a goal of $500, which I must raise by July 19th.
The Courage Classic is not only a personal challenge, but also an opportunity to support positive outcomes and healthier futures for children. Please support us with a donation today!
