Why I ride
I am riding in the Courage Classic 2019 for kids like Bryan Warnecke. Last year on the ride, I met the 16 year-old Colorado native and Cystic Fibrosis patient and am in awe of his remarkable courage and personal drive. OneRepublic made a video that characterizes the life journey of Warnecke and thousands of other CF patients. Please watch the video and learn about his incredible outlook on life in the midst of overwhelming challenges. In 2014 alone, Bryan and his cycling teammates biked 1,200 miles and raised $300,000 for Cystic Fibrosis research. His perseverance and willingness to share his story is bound to further energize his fundraising and advocacy successes in the months and years to come.
The Courage Classic is both a personal challenge and an opportunity to support positive outcomes for kids and families who need Children's Colorado. I have received a number of donations in the mail and from friends and family - thank you if you have donated already. This is my last minute push to get some online donations. Thank you for all of your support whether it be through a monetary donation or prayers.
