Welcome to the 2018 WSFP Children's Hospital Burn Camp Fundraiser!
If you are a WSFP employee: Please make sure to use your full name or work email address when making a donation. We will be tracking donations by branch as well as doing a weekly prize drawing.
Our fundraiser will run from May 21st through June 1st and our goal is to raise $6,000. Children's Hospital Colorado Burn Camp Programs completely covers the costs for families to attend camp so they have no out of pocket expenses - The $6,000 we are hoping to raise will cover the cost of one family.
Every dollar helps and is greatly appreciated, please watch the video above to see why this cause is so important to us here at Western States. Thank you so much for your support!
"Western States Fire Protection protects lives and property, but in the event of a catastrophic injury related to fire, it is our duty to help support those injured along with their families." Jeff Daane
This year the Children's Hospital Colorado Family Burn Camp Program welcomes 7 families from Colorado, Ohio, and California to unite together in Estes Park, Colorado to share their unique experience as a family impacted by a burn injury.
Camp Goals:
-
Connect with other families with similar experiences.
-
Learn new skills to help with interactions in community and home life.
-
Build confidence while decreasing guilt, shame, stigmas, and other negativity.
Families are supported by Camp staff members who design a program that focuses on building a community, strengthening family bonds, giving and receiving support, and learning new ways to thrive after a burn injury in the family.
This program includes support and activities for the entire family.
Please help us raise money for Children's Hospital Colorado Burn Camp Program and their mission to support, encourage, and enrich the lives of young burn survivors and their families.
